Set resolution to lower or higher, set the game to fullscreen or windowed or borderless windowed. try fooling around with the resolution settings. try uninstalling and reinstalling the game a few times (this was recommended to me by a discord user) if you are overclocking your computer, don't. if you have a dedicated graphics card, enter your graphics card settings where you can set preferences for each program separately and make sure the game uses the dedicated one. ![]() Made some research about it and it turns out this crashing after a minute issue is a thing that can happen in UE4 games I asked the devs about it on the official discord server but even they couldn't help. I made a post here about this a few weeks ago, I have the exact same problem on my new laptop (it crashes after exactly one minute, including the time you spend in the menu). If you're also having this problem, go over to Windows Defender Firewall, click on Advanced Settings, go to outbound rules and create new outbound rules for both THG_DEMO_3.exe and THG_DEMO_3-Win64-Shipping.exe, to disable their internet access. I'm only posting here because I heard about mega-demo today (thanks guys!) and would prefer not to have the same issue with that.Īnybody else have this problem, and how did you fix it?ĮDIT fixed. The demo, VR and pancake, ran fine on my old PC, which barely met the minimum specs. My PC is above the recommended specs, so that's not a problem. The ship to ship option loads the inside for a few seconds, but then that crashes too. I tried the pancake version, and it does the same thing crashes before the ship is loaded. No error message, nothing, just shutdown to desktop. I load it up, press start, listen to Robin talk about his wife, and right before the ship loads in. I use the Oculus desktop app and wired link, if that helps at all. ![]() ![]() So a few weeks ago I bought a new PC, and of course felt obligated to play demo 3 in VR. You can download Titanic: Honor and Glory demo for free here.Hey guys. This game built using unreal engine looks absolutely amazing and the idea behind the full game sounds really interesting. The idea behind the game when it is finished is to be a kind of detective and blend in with the crew and guests while you uncover the mystery behind a crime the most ambitious part of the project is that once the game is complete you will actually experience the sinking of the Titanic in real time and although kind of a dark concept one that would be incredibly intriguing and interesting to experience in video game form. Titanic: Honor and Glory at the moment is in its very early stages of development and the free download that we have for you here is only a very brief glimpse of hopefully what is to come in the future as in this demo you can only walk around some of the setting for the final game which of course is the doomed boat the Titanic and wow it looks incredible the detail that has gone in to it is fantastic and although there is no real point to the game at this time in its development and all you can do is walk around and explore a small part of the Titanic but it looks so good you will find yourself wanting to explore every available part of the ship, and may well be disappointed that there is not more of it you can walk around.
